Racing to Zero is excited to announce a new project with Tourism London to help sport event hosts in the City minimize their environmental impact.
Through this project, Racing to Zero will work closely with Tourism London to develop a tailored sustainability guidebook that is designed specifically for sports events in London. Combining international best practices regarding responsible event hosting with real-world data and research on the Southwestern region of Ontario, the project will provide an actionable resource that event organizers of any size can use throughout their planning process.
The guidebook will align with the City of London’s Climate Emergency Action Plan, and will build on existing resources and programs within the city. It is planned to be launched in early 2026.
